What is WorkTrail?
WorkTrail is a Contractor Logic web app for small contractors. It collects worker hours, daily work descriptions, reimbursement receipts, job/project records, and owner-reviewed history so the business can understand real labor cost and future pricing.
Who is WorkTrail for?
WorkTrail is for small contractor owners who need better field records without a large construction-management system. It is especially useful when the owner needs to know what workers did, how long it took, and what similar work should cost next time.
Does WorkTrail replace accounting software?
No. WorkTrail is for field records, worker time, reimbursement receipt tracking, owner review, and pricing memory. Accounting, tax filing, payroll systems, and bookkeeping tools remain separate.
Do workers need accounts?
No. Owners create and manage the company workspace. Workers use locked daily links to submit their field logs without getting owner-level access.
How do daily links work?
The owner or reminder workflow sends a worker a link for the daily field record. The worker opens it on a phone, adds hours, work performed, and reimbursement receipt details when needed, then submits it for owner review.
How much does WorkTrail cost?
The current offer is 3 months free with payment set up up front. After that, WorkTrail is $14.99/month plus applicable tax or $152.90/year plus applicable tax.
What happens after the 3 free months?
The subscription continues on the selected monthly or annual plan unless the owner changes or cancels according to the active subscription terms in the billing flow.
Monthly or yearly: which should I choose?
Monthly is $14.99/month plus tax. Annual prepaid is $152.90/year plus tax, which is about $12.74/month and saves $26.98 compared with 12 monthly payments before tax.
Can I change or cancel later?
WorkTrail is positioned as a subscription product. This public FAQ is informational and does not create checkout or account-management changes; use the official billing/account flow when it is available for subscription changes.
Do I lose data from the free period?
No. Trial records belong to the owner workspace. WorkTrail is intended to keep job history, hours, receipts, and exports available for owner use.
Is there a setup fee?
The public WorkTrail pricing page lists the WorkTrail subscription price. It does not add a separate public setup package, payment link, or implementation checkout.
What happens with job and project records?
Records stay attached to the owner workspace, worker, job/project, and day so they can be reviewed later for payroll preparation, billing context, reimbursement follow-up, and future estimating memory.
Can owners review and correct logs?
Yes. The owner review lane is part of the product direction. Worker submissions should become trusted history only after the owner has a chance to review and correct the record.
Is WorkTrail mobile friendly?
Yes. WorkTrail is web-app first and can be used from a phone browser. Workers can submit daily links from mobile, and owners can use mobile or desktop for workspace review.
How do I install or download WorkTrail?
Use the Download page for web app access and Add to Home Screen guidance. This public site does not claim App Store or Google Play availability.
How does WorkTrail help with pricing memory?
Reviewed daily hours and work descriptions create real job history. Over time, that history helps the owner learn task durations, labor cost, and how to price similar future work with less guessing.
Do receipts count as full project-profit analytics?
Receipts are currently positioned for reimbursement and bookkeeping/accounting context. WorkTrail pricing memory is focused first on owner-reviewed labor history and real task duration.
