Terms of Service
WorkTrail Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for using WorkTrail owner accounts, worker daily links, field records, and paid subscriptions.
1. WorkTrail and Contractor Logic
WorkTrail is contractor field-record subscription software operated under Contractor Logic. It helps small contractor owners organize job records, worker daily links, hours, notes, reimbursement receipts, owner review, records/export, and pricing memory.
These terms apply when you create an owner account, use the WorkTrail web app, use WorkTrail links, or continue a paid WorkTrail subscription.
2. Owner accounts and authorized use
The owner account is responsible for the company workspace, users, projects/jobs, worker links, billing choices, and data entered into WorkTrail. Keep login details private and only share worker links with people authorized to submit records for your company.
Worker daily links are for limited field submissions. Workers should not use links that were not sent or approved by the company owner or manager.
3. Accurate records
You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the hours, notes, receipts, job details, and other records entered into WorkTrail. WorkTrail helps organize records, but it cannot verify every field condition, payroll rule, reimbursement decision, tax treatment, or job-cost conclusion.
4. Not legal, accounting, tax, or payroll advice
WorkTrail does not replace professional legal, accounting, tax, payroll, HR, insurance, estimating, or compliance advice. Use your own professional judgment and advisors before relying on records for payroll, taxes, contracts, claims, or legal decisions.
5. Subscription and payment terms
Public WorkTrail signup is offered as 3 months free with payment set up front. After the free period, the subscription renews at $14.99 per month or $152.90 per year, plus applicable tax, unless the subscription is canceled or changed before renewal.
Billing is handled through Zoho Billing and Zoho Payments. Prices, tax handling, available plans, and renewal timing may be shown during checkout or subscription management and may change for future renewals where allowed.
6. Availability and pilot status
WorkTrail is a live product in a controlled beta/pilot lane. Features may change as the product improves. Contractor Logic may update, limit, pause, or retire features when needed for reliability, security, compliance, or product operations.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse WorkTrail, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, scrape or attack the system, upload malicious content, use another company’s workspace without permission, or use WorkTrail for unlawful or abusive activity.
8. Data ownership and privacy reference
Your company remains responsible for the business records it enters into WorkTrail. Contractor Logic may process those records to provide, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve WorkTrail. This page is not a full privacy policy; use the Contractor Logic privacy policy and direct contact path for privacy questions.
9. Limitation of liability
WorkTrail is provided to help organize field records and owner review. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Contractor Logic is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, lost-profit, lost-data, payroll, tax, legal, or business interruption damages arising from use of WorkTrail.
10. Changes to these terms
Contractor Logic may update these terms as WorkTrail changes. The updated page date and live page content will control for future use. Continued use of WorkTrail after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms, owner access, billing, cancellation, or WorkTrail support should be sent through Contractor Logic’s contact page.
